This wasn't the first thing that I read this morning but I saw this before I got out of bed. I haven't told my wife yet because stuff like this is a crummy way to start the day.
He seemed like he was kind of mean to a lot of people but he also seemed pretty genuine. If he didn't get along with someone, he wasn't going to waste his time around them.
I don't know the man; I've never met him.
This is just to say that I really enjoyed his cultural interactions from all over the world as well as his writing. He will be missed.
